in December in Phnom Penh.

2:30 PM

- Sakura Class (7th year): Intermediate level Japanese Reading for beginners
(Teaching materials are about Japan.)
- Fuji Class (4th year): Hiroko's joyful Japanese language 2, Everybody's Japanese 2
- Himawari Class (First year): Hiroko's joyful Japanese language 1 (Lesson 27)
Exchange with Japanese schools (7th year)
In addition to exchange of letters by participating schools in Japan, classrooms
are decorated with thoughtful supporting supplies (handmade materials for
teaching Japanese, games, writing material, songs, soap, towels, bags and
calendars, and dust cloths) sent by schools in Japan. This international
exchange activity encourages children to understand different cultures
and countries and cultivates friendship among them.

- Dec. 25: Six high school students' visit (under the auspices of International
Department of Okayama Prefecture)
- Dec. 1: Presentation of teaching materials and stationery from AS-WAN (special sponsor)
- Dec. 2: Japanese Language Aptitude Test (6 students passed the test of 3rd grade.)
- Feb. 26: HG JYA (Hearts of Gold Japan Youth Ambassador) including mostly
students from Notre Dame Seishin Univ. visited for interchange
- Feb.: Present of stationary and bags from Komachi Heart of Gold

| Son Sokea is going to enter the 2nd grade of Okayama Gakugeikan High School
to study for a year from April, 2008 as Chun Sreimi did in this year. Other
than studying Japanese, English and computer, she can attend a club activity.
Sreimi finished her studying in August and go back to Cambodia. She will
be a teacher of Japanese Course to teach her juniors. |
