Hearts of Gold (HG) holds symposiums on sports and physical education, panel exhibitions of humanitarian aid and lectures, which are the main concept of Hearts of Gold.
These activities aim at publicizing HG and increasing the number of supporters. |

HG held 23 events in 2006 totally. |
Representative Director, Yuko Arimori and Director of Asia Region Office,
Taku Yamaguchi acted as instructors.
As panelists of the Symposium held on Feb. 27th , Yuko Arimori, Taku Yamaguchi,
Chisa Hara, a team leader of JICA Human Development Department, Yoshinori
Okade, Associate Professor of Tsukuba Graduate University and Yuka Harada,
Captain of the Japanese Basketball Team of the Atlanta Olympics attended
it. HG Secretariat worked to hold the Symposium. Mr. Nobuhiro Takeda, a
former Japan national football team member and now a sports commentator,
worked on the Talk Show. |
Symposium:
Participants in the panel discussion developed understanding of the theme,
the importance of sports and education in Cambodia by exchanging their
opinions.
Development Through Sports -DTS-:
Participants deepened understanding of DTS and activities of HG by attending
over one hour of the lecture and workshop. |
HG plans to hold Symposium at the end of the fiscal year.
HG will hold a debriefing session for cooperative groups or companies. |
