Cooperation, donation, supporting organization
Cambodian Disbled People's Organization(CDPO), Setouchi Lion's club, Kasumigaura Marathon Executive Comjmittee, Fuji Xerox Okayama
Activity outline
  1. Establishment of Cambodian Disabled Athletics Federation (CDAF)
  2. Cooperative support from 3 organizations
    1. Hearts of Gold (HG) is promoting whole support under the cooperation of HG Iida Club
    2. Setouchi Lion's Club donated the facilities
    3. CDPO offered places and annual electricity
  3. Supplies from 2 organizations
    1. FUJI Xerox Okayama donated 2 laptop computers
    2. HG donated desks, chairs, etc.
  4. Lectures for the management (project, accounting, etc.) by staffs of HG
  5. Support by invitation of the winners of Angkor Wat International Half Marathon through CDAF
Problem
  • Under the current situation of CDAF, where disabled people are in low social position and get less understanding in their sporting, it is difficult to acquire supporters for them in Cambodia. They now are depending on the support by HG alone.
  • Therefore, it is difficult to draw the develping plan for the project. If HG could secure the supporters, it is possible to promote this project.
Next execution plan
  1. Inviting 2 field athletes disabled to Kasumigaura Marathon (Ibaraki, Japan)
  2. Inviting to 12th AWHM in Siem Reap, Cambodia
  3. Training the officers of CDAF
  4. Acquisition of sponsors for project funds of CDAF
  5. Donating wheelchairs (more than 80 for both adults and children)
